Oral Exams

As a new patient, Dr. Rascius will sit down with you to understand your unique medical history, dental history, oral health goals, and current challenges. Our initial phase “Explore” consists of:

  1. Full mouth digital x-rays

  2. Digital wellness scan

  3. Intraoral photos

  4. Periodontal chart (measuring gum & bone health)

  5. Oral cancel screening

  6. Airway screening

  7. Detailed extraoral and intraoral exam

Based on your exam and your unique goals, Dr. Rascius will craft a personalized treatment plan. She may recommend further diagnostics including:

  1. 3D x-ray (CBT: Cone beam computed tomography)

  2. Salivary testing

Taking all of the exploratory phase findings into account, we will design treatment that prevents, restores, and refines as needed for you.

  • Yes! I will be taking insurance when Soleil begins operations and will be contracting with as many insurance options as we can. If you don’t have insurance we have financing available as well as an in house membership plan - we will work with wherever you are at to ensure you get the dental care you need with the budget you have.

  • There are a few different types of dental exams. Based on your dental history and needs, it can range from [dollar amount]

    All new patients need a comprehensive exam that includes a full series of mouth digital x-rays. This would be needed every 3-5 years.

    Periodic exam is what your most basic appointment that does not require x-rays but does come with hygiene!

  • We determine what treatment you need during a dental exam, most treatments are not performed during the base exam. If everything looks good, we’ll do a preventative cleaning and get you on your way!
